Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios's entrance music is Insane in the Membrane. A fine choice. Paulo Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rios looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Rios tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Silva gets a takedown into half guard.
Rios tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rios is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rios is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rios avoid being mounted?

Silva moves into full mount! Rios won't be happy about that!
Rios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Silva has hold of Rios's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rios manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rios knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Rios is trying desperately to improve position.

Rios defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Silva.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rios is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Rios throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

Rios manages to break the clinch.
Silva avoids the head kick by Rios.
Rios avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Silva clinches up with Rios and pushes him back against the cage.

Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Rios throws a knee to the head but misses.

Rios manages to break the clinch.

Rios misses the shot to the body.
Silva blocks a head kick by Rios.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rios.
Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rios is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Rios pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Rios.
Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Silva avoids the head kick by Rios.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Rios shows good takedown defense.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rios manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Rios throws a body kick that misses.
Rios throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rios's head.
Silva is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rios pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva thuds his right hand into Rios's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A head kick by Rios - that's a beauty! Silva is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Rios can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
