Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mannie Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nergal Darski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Behemoth - Conquer All. Nergal Darski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mannie Mann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nergal Darski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann throws a leg kick
and Mann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mann throws a body kick the misses
and Darski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mann misses with a leg kick
and Darski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Darski blocks a jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mann. That's going to slow Darski down.

Darski tries to keep at a distance but Mann has taken the fight into the clinch.

Darski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Darski throws a quick inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mann throws a head kick that misses.

and Darski counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Darski looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Darski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darski on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nergal Darski wasn't active enough on the ground.
Darski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mann.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Darski.
Darski lands a nice shot to the body.
Mann is breathing heavily.

Darski scores with a one two! Mann had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darski cracks Mann with an open hand slap.
Mann throws a leg kick

and Darski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Darski.
Darski lands an elbow that stopped Mann in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Mannie Mann has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Darski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Darski lands a knee to the body.
Darski scores with a shot to the side of Mann's head.
Darski scores a nice knee to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Darski.
Darski lands a shoulder strike.


Mann is rocked!

Darski has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mann clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Oh Mann is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Darski loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Mann hold on?
Well, with Darski on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Mann is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Mann seems to have got his legs back now.

It looks like Darski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Darski connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Mann to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Darski is working the ground and pound. Can Mann escape?

Darski punches Mann on the ear.
Darski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mann is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
I would not like to be Mann right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nergal Darski dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mannie Mann's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Darski's corner calls for a 1-2. Darski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Darski scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Darski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Darski passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mann!
Darski lands a nice shot to the head.
Darski is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Darski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Nergal Darski has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mann really wants to buck Darski off and get back to his feet.
Mann in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Darski controlling the position easily from mount.
Darski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Darski landing strikes, looking to finish!
Darski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Darski connects with a bit shot that sees Mann covering up! More strikes from Darski and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Darski is our winner by TKO!
