Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clay Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrow comes to the cage accompanied by Straylight Run - Hands In The Sky. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
davis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
davis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morrow finds it's way round the side to connect with davis's head.

It looks like mike davis has been cut.
Morrow looks to throw the jab but davis is out of range.
davis misses with a hook. Morrow ducked under it nicely.

davis lands a left and a right that send Morrow crashing to the mat, dazed. davis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Clay Morrow has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
davis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Morrow.
Morrow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by davis.
davis throws a hook but Morrow avoids it easily.
davis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morrow.
Morrow shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. davis eats them both and turns towards Morrow to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

davis drops Morrow with a beautiful combination! Morrow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - davis is looking for the KO!

Morrow is rocked!

and davis rattles Morrow with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Morrow tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. davis dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Morrow stiff and motionless on the mat!
