The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a lazy uppercut
and Schulz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Kevin Smith has been cut.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Schulz counters with a stiff right hand.

Schulz has managed to clinch.
Schulz is struggling to control the position.
Smith tries for a takedown. No joy.
Schulz is pushing Smith up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Smith has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Schulz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Schulz lands with a short shot to the head.
Schulz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smith is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Smith's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Schulz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Smith is rocked!
Schulz unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Smith! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Schulz is unloading with more strikes now! Smith drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
