Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Buckner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shawn Smith!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Smith.
Smith with a poor takedown
and Buckner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Smith fails with the takedown
and Buckner counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith tries for a takedown but Buckner circles away easily
and Buckner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Matt Buckner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Smith.
Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Buckner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Buckner throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it.
Smith looks gassed!

Buckner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Buckner.
Buckner works Smith's body with a nice hook.
Buckner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Smith needs to keep his hands up - Buckner had a free shot at his head there.
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Buckner. Buckner obviously looking to wear him down.
Shawn Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Buckner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Smith is rocked!
Buckner lands with a big right hook that stumbles Smith - he's out on his feet here! Buckner follows up with another monster hook that separates Smith from consciousness! Smith falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Buckner stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
