The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Illianenko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kilat misses with a takedown attempt
and Illianenko counters with a stiff right hand.
Illianenko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kilat tries for a takedown but Illianenko circles away easily
and Illianenko counters with a three punch combo that has Kilat backing up. Kilat nods at Illianenko to acknowledge the strikes.
Ivan Illianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boy Kilat.

Illianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kilat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A right-left combo lands from Illianenko.

It looks like Boy Kilat has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Illianenko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kilat eats them both and turns towards Illianenko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Illianenko throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kilat is still on wobbly legs! Can Illianenko finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kilat slips a jab and a cross from Illianenko.
Illianenko lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kilat up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Illianenko from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kilat's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
