Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tabares closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Tabares pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reyes gets tackled into the cage by Tabares. Tabares maintains the clinch.
Tabares tries to pull guard but Reyes won't allow it.
Reyes lands a body shot in the clinch.
Reyes lands a nice knee to the body.
Reyes lands an elbow just above Tabares 's eye.

Reyes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reyes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reyes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tabares takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tabares fails with the takedown.

Reyes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tabares, pushing him back against the cage.

Tabares jumps guard but Reyes stands there with Tabares around his waist. Tabares gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tabares is trying to drag Reyes to the mat but Reyes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tabares drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Reyes gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tabares tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Reyes avoids it.

Reyes lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A nice left hand lands by Reyes.

Reyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tabares throws a head kick that misses.

Reyes has closed the distance and engaged Tabares in a clinch.

and Tabares counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Reyes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Reyes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tabares is one step ahead there.

Reyes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Reyes keeping moving, preventing Tabares from controlling successfully.
Reyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tabares on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reyes is on top in guard.
