Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Tudeep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamish McGibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tudeep comes to the cage accompanied by Survival of the Fitttest. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from McGibbs.
McGibbs pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McGibbs connects with an inside leg kick.

Tudeep takes the fight into the clinch.
Tudeep tries for a takedown. No joy.
McGibbs creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tudeep's defenses.

It looks like Dixon Tudeep has been cut.

McGibbs keeps control of Tudeep as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, McGibbs just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tudeep's brow.
Tudeep wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tudeep is trying to break free.
Tudeep misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from McGibbs.
Nice elbow from McGibbs.
McGibbs trying to land knees to the body.
Tudeep looking to throw knees to the head but McGibbs is blocking nicely.
McGibbs lands an elbow just above Tudeep 's eye.

Dixon Tudeep's cut is getting worse.
McGibbs lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
McGibbs throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Tudeep has McGibbs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McGibbs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dixon Tudeep. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McGibbs missing with knees to the body.
Tudeep misses with a hook to the ribs.

Tudeep has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McGibbs clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Tudeep doesn't have the hooks in and McGibbs manages to turn into his guard.

McGibbs is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tudeep is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tudeep is looking to sweep but instead, McGibbs has passed into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tudeep makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tudeep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McGibbs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tudeep swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tudeep is trying to control the position but McGibbs postures up.
Tudeep wants to stand but McGibbs is controlling the position.
McGibbs's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Tudeep looking to hit a scissor sweep but McGibbs is one step ahead there.
Tudeep controls McGibbs momentarily but McGibbs frees himself.

Dixon Tudeep has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tudeep gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tudeep has had enough of the clinch but McGibbs keeps him there for the moment.
McGibbs lands an elbow that stopped Tudeep in his tracks for a moment.

Dixon Tudeep's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Tudeep wants to break free but McGibbs has control.
McGibbs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Tudeep tries to circle away but McGibbs has him pinned against the cage.
Tudeep takes an elbow to the temple.

Jeez, Dixon Tudeep's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dixon Tudeep's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
