Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Smackdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robinson Stacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson Stacker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robinson Stacker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stacker shoots in but Smackdown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stacker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smackdown back to the cage. Stacker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Smackdown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Smackdown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stacker defending well though.
Smackdown is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Smackdown wants to free his trapped foot but Stacker is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like Robinson Stacker has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stacker is not content to let Smackdown control the position.

Smackdown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The strikes coming from Smackdown are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Smackdown lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Smackdown looks up at the clock and then as Stacker takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Smackdown smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Smackdown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stacker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stacker can do anything to dispel that myth.
Stacker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smackdown asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Smackdown lands a nice forearm strike.

You can see the frustration on Stacker's face as Smackdown controls the position.
Smackdown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stacker keeps working.
Smackdown cracks Stacker with a big right hand but Stacker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smackdown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stacker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Smackdown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stacker takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Stacker seems a little lost for a moment, as Smackdown dominates the positioning.
Smackdown wants to control but Stacker is keeping him busy.

Stacker tries to buck Smackdown off but Smackdown is having none of it.
Smackdown is looking to take a break and control but Stacker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Smackdown could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smackdown is working Stacker over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Freddy Smackdown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stacker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smackdown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smackdown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stacker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Smackdown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stacker!

Smackdown wants to finish this one by submission but Stacker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smackdown.
Stacker is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smackdown working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Stacker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Smackdown! Submission of the night perhaps?
