Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dakka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dakka decides to stand and escape the position.
Wazz Dakka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruuska gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ruuska putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Dakka in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Ruuska lands an elbow inside.
Ruuska manages to break the clinch.
Ruuska tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dakka shoots and misses
and Ruuska counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dakka keeps the fight on the outside.
Ruuska looks for the body kick but Dakka saw that one coming.
Ruuska moves in looking to clinch but Dakka pushes him off.
Ruuska misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dakka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ruuska tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dakka is in Ruuska's guard.
Dakka slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dakka trying to control the position but Ruuska is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruuska wants to get back to his feet but Dakka drags him back down.
Dakka tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dakka has an Americana. Ruuska didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dakka is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dakka hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Wazz Dakka!
