The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebert throws an off balance right hand
and Thompson counters with a stiff right hand.
Thompson throws an overhand right that lands on Ebert's shoulder, as Ebert tries to avoid the shot.

and Thompson counters with a head kick.

A solid leg kick lands there for Thompson.
Ebert slips a jab and a cross from Thompson.
Thompson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Thompson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ebert's head backwards.
Thompson tries to move into range but Ebert moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ebert shoots for a double leg takedown but Thompson sprawls well. He's pushed Ebert's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ebert doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Thompson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Thompson drops Ebert with a straight right hand, right on the button! Thompson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
