PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muammar Gaddafi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaddafi comes to the cage accompanied by اليسا تصدق ب. Slim has chosen Jammin- Bob Marley as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaddafi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Gaddafi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Slim closes the distance and clinches up with Gaddafi, looking for a takedown. Slim pushes Gaddafi against the cage but Gaddafi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Slim changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gaddafi tries to avoid it but Slim manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gaddafi to the ground. Gaddafi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Slim drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gaddafi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slim has Gaddafi in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gaddafi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Slim has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gaddafi is looking to defend but Slim has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gaddafi! Slim pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gaddafi taps out and this one is all over!
