Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dangle comes to the cage accompanied by "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga. The key to victory for Jim Dangle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Strange counters with a straight right hand.
Dangle tries to clinch
and Dangle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Strange takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Strange closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dangle did well to prevent Strange getting side control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Valko Strange hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Strange moves into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Strange takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dangle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Strange pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Dangle is fighting to break Strange's control of his arms but Strange is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Valko Strange hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Strange goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dangle rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Strange's guard! Nice work there by Dangle!
Dangle controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strange can do anything to dispel that myth.
