Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko CroCop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neven Macura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Macura lands in his opponent's guard.
CroCop looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Macura advances to half guard.
Macura lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
CroCop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

CroCop is defending against the submission attempts here by Macura.
Macura drops an elbow to the side of CroCop's head.
Macura has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Macura gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Macura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. CroCop sprawls well initially but Macura persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Macura is taking a breather. CroCop says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Macura passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for CroCop!

Macura is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, CroCop has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Macura lands a big shot there that rocks CroCop but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
CroCop is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
CroCop is squirming around, avoiding Macura's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that CroCop really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Macura cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Macura takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Macura looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
CroCop tries to lock up and control but Macura gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Macura get's back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Macura fails with a takedown attempt.
Macura tries to close the distance and clinch but CroCop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Macura stuffs the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Macura or perhaps it was just good defense by CroCop which made him look bad.
CroCop stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and CroCop wants it to stay on the feet.
Macura circles away from the clinch attempt.

Macura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
CroCop tries to bench press Macura off him but Macura keeps the position.

Macura lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear CroCop down.
CroCop looks to move to half guard but instead Macura has passed into mount! Damn!
Macura lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Neven Macura has got the better of the ground game so far.

Macura lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Macura tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
CroCop can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Macura.
CroCop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Macura on the ground.

Macura is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but CroCop is surviving well by controlling Macura's body position as best he can.
CroCop is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

CroCop misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Macura tries to score a power double leg takedown but CroCop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Macura somewhat.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Macura doesn't manage to clinch there - CroCop circles away.

CroCop throws a head kick but Macura moves out of range.

CroCop shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Macura's guard.

CroCop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Macura is controlling him.

Mirko CroCop has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Macura is looking to clinch.
CroCop displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Macura.
CroCop closes the distance and clinches up with Macura, looking for a takedown. CroCop pushes Macura against the cage but Macura circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

CroCop stands up over Macura, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Neven Macura is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
