The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
QUICK sizes up Kame with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
QUICK will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
QUICK shoots in for a double leg but Kame sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
QUICK shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kame sprawls well. Kame wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. QUICK gets slowly back to his feet.
Kuririn Kame has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SUPER QUICK.
A looping hook to the body misses from QUICK. Kame does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Kame as QUICK shoots in.
QUICK changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kame tries to avoid it but QUICK manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kame to the ground. Kame escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kame closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming QUICK to the mat! QUICK manages to get full guard.

Kame is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and QUICK defends well.
QUICK is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kame bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in QUICK's guard.
QUICK wriggles free and stands up.

Kame is trying to get an arm triangle but QUICK is defending well.

QUICK is looking for a sweep.
QUICK wants to get back to his feet but Kame drags him back down.
Kame passes to full mount! That's big trouble for QUICK!
Kame looking for a guillotine from mount but QUICK is having none of it.
QUICK stops Kame from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kame moves to back control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kame has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

QUICK has his takedown stuffed
and Kame counters with a single leg into guard. QUICK didn't expect that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
QUICK is looking to control Kame's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can QUICK avoid being mounted?
Kame is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Kame moves to the back.
Kuririn Kame overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kame looking to break QUICK's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. QUICK remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kame will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Kame is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. QUICK is defending well though. Kame let's go of the attempt for now.

QUICK won't enjoy being in this position. Kame looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - QUICK is tapping - it's over boys! Kame picks up the submission victory!
