Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Wall could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tommy Gunn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wall tries to sprawl but Gunn drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Wall is positioning himself well to prevent Gunn advancing to mount.
Gunn prevents Wall from standing back up.
Gunn wants to pass the guard but Wall is defending well.
Gunn is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Wall gets full guard.
Wall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gunn controls the pace.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tommy Gunn.
Wall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jack Wall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gunn feints and as Wall raises his hands in defense, Gunn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wall tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gunn's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tommy Gunn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A head kick misses from Wall.
Gunn keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Wall tries to clinch up but Gunn circles away and keeps his distance.

Gunn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wall trying to control but Gunn postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gunn slows the pace down in half guard.

Gunn uses his free foot to push down on Wall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wall.
Wall is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wall is breathing heavily.
Gunn working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Gunn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
I looks like Gunn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Gunn is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wall has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wall!

Wall is posturing up here but Gunn has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wall tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wall has to tap! Slick submission there by Gunn!
