Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buffalo Buffalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buffalo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Buffalo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Buffalo as Kirk shoots in.

Kirk avoids the body shot from Buffalo.
Buffalo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Buffalo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kirk takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kirk throws a combination that misses
and Buffalo counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kirk moves to clinch but Buffalo breaks away
and Buffalo counters with a nice body shot.
Buffalo moves out of range of the body kick.
Kirk walks into a stiff left hand from Buffalo.
Kirk doesn't manage to clinch there - Buffalo circles away.
Kirk takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Buffalo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kirk throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Buffalo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kirk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Buffalo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kirk scrambles back to his feet.
Buffalo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kirk had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kirk doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Buffalo there.
Buffalo Buffalo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kirk tries to move into range but Buffalo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kirk shoots for a takedown but Buffalo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kirk is breathing heavily.
Buffalo lands a lovely overhand right.
Buffalo cracks a nice hook into Kirk's ribs.
Buffalo thuds a left hand into Kirk's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice uppercut lands for Buffalo. That snapped Kirk's head back.

Buffalo cracks Kirk with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kirk looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Buffalo finish him?
Buffalo lands with a nice body punch.
Buffalo lands with a shot to the body.
Buffalo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kirk momentarily.
Buffalo scores with a hook to the body. Kirk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Buffalo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Buffalo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kirk on the side of the head.
Kirk takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Buffalo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Buffalo scores with a sloppy right hand. Kirk should have avoided that one.
Buffalo scores with a jab to the head.
Kirk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Buffalo finds it's way round the side to connect with Kirk's head.

Buffalo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kirk sprawling to the canvas! Kirk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Buffalo finish him?!
Buffalo drops Kirk with a big left hand! Kirk is injured, injured bad! Buffalo jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
