Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Dutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matheus Dutra has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutra circles away from the clinch attempt
and Dutra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dutra decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dutra passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Harper!

Dutra is working for a guillotine from mount but Harper frees his head quite easily.
Dutra throwing strikes here but Harper is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Dutra is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Harper can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Harper defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dutra.
Harper wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dutra.

Dutra is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Harper has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Harper's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dutra content just to control the position here.

Dutra looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Dutra wants to finish this one by submission but Harper is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dutra.
Dutra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dutra with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Harper is squirming around, avoiding Dutra's attempts to control the action.
Dutra throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Harper because Dutra loaded up on that one.
Dutra sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Dutra unloads with some shots from mount but Harper bucks and avoids them well.
Dutra misses with a head shot.
Harper is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Dutra has control of Harper's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Harper regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dutra is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dutra extends the arm and Harper is forced to tap!
