The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vueszquez takes the fight into the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vueszquez pushes Payne away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Payne gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Vueszquez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Payne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vueszquez tries to avoid it but Payne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vueszquez to the ground. Vueszquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
