This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Blicharz . He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Restrepo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blicharz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Restrepo cracks Blicharz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Blicharz is rocked!

Restrepo throws a left that rocks Blicharz and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Restrepo dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Blicharz regain composure!
Oh Blicharz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blicharz parries the strikes from Restrepo easily there. Restrepo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blicharz to escape.
Blicharz can't do much from the bottom here.
Restrepo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Restrepo tries to score with some ground and pound. Blicharz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Blicharz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
A lull in the action here as Restrepo stalls from top position.
Let's hope that Restrepo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Restrepo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Restrepo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Blicharz closes the distance and clinches up with Restrepo, looking for a takedown. Blicharz pushes Restrepo against the cage but Restrepo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
