The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canedo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Khalifa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Canedo has his takedown stuffed
and Khalifa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Khalifa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Canedo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Canedo is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big shot lands for Khalifa! That's hurt Canedo! Will he recover? Khalifa fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
