The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faeed connects with a body shot that sends Wintzloff's belly button to the back.
Faeed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Faeed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Wintzloff fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Faeed, pushing him back against the cage.

Wintzloff shoots in looking for a takedown but Faeed manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wintzloff's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wintzloff is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Faeed to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Faeed shrugs it off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wintzloff lands a nice short elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wintzloff in particular looking to stall.

Wintzloff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faeed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wintzloff has managed to get both his arms back between Faeed's legs - danger averted.

Faeed escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wintzloff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Faeed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wintzloff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
