Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samir Oheat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoishi Uzomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoishi Uzomaki will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samir Oheat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoishi Uzomaki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oheat.
Oheat throws a leg kick

so Uzomaki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Uzomaki sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Oheat's guard.

Uzomaki escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Oheat makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Uzomaki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oheat manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Oheat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Uzomaki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Uzomaki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Uzomaki wants to pass the guard but Oheat is keeping the position.

Uzomaki stands and steps away. Oheat gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oheat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Uzomaki paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uzomaki is defended easily by Oheat.
Uzomaki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oheat pinned against the cage. Oheat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Samir Oheat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoishi Uzomaki.

Uzomaki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Yoishi Uzomaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uzomaki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Oheat is out of range.

Uzomaki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Oheat swivels and escapes.
Oheat could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Oheat counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Oheat is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Uzomaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Uzomaki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oheat sprawls well. Oheat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Uzomaki gets slowly back to his feet.

and Uzomaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Uzomaki misses with a combination

and Oheat counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Uzomaki is looking to stand up but Oheat isn't so interested in that idea.

Uzomaki working for submissions but it's allowed Oheat to get to half guard.
Uzomaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oheat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Uzomaki looking for a kimura from the bottom but Oheat passes into side control!

Uzomaki manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Uzomaki is pressing down on Oheat's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Oheat drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Uzomaki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Oheat has Uzomaki in his guard.

Uzomaki stands up from Oheat's guard - Uzomaki perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Uzomaki has a takedown stuffed.
Uzomaki fails to land the takedown.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Oheat enables Uzomaki to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Oheat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Uzomaki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oheat looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oheat looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oheat!
Uzomaki is looking to reverse the position.

Oheat is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Uzomaki is trying to escape and Oheat transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Uzomaki is forced to tap! Nice work there by Oheat! Very nice indeed!
