Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Layden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Mitch Layden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hart!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Layden misses with a straight right.
Layden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Layden works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Layden is striking but Hart is not phased and passes to half guard.

Hart goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Layden turns into him and now he's in Hart's guard.

Hart wants to improve his position but instead Layden has moved into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hart seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hart wants to control but Layden is keeping him busy.

Hart postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Layden badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hart around the waist but Hart pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hart is the winner by TKO! Hart jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
