Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Look Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tito Ortiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Look Horse! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horse moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ortiz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horse was covering up waiting for the punch and Ortiz finishes the takedown easily into guard. Horse wants to get back to his feet but Ortiz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Horse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ortiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Horse is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Horse preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Horse wants to stand up but Ortiz is controlling him. Ortiz scoring with some ground and pound. Ortiz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ortiz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Horse's head. Ortiz lands a couple of elbows. Ortiz scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Horse is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Horse can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortiz is pushing down on Horse's leg trying to pass to half guard. Horse is fighting to maintain full guard but Ortiz has managed to sneak the leg through. Ortiz drops an elbow to the side of Horse's head. Ortiz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ortiz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ortiz lands a nice short elbow. Horse keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ortiz is keen to just control but Horse is a slippery customer. Ground and pound from Ortiz. Ortiz not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ground and pound from Ortiz. Horse blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ortiz. Ortiz lands strikes from half guard. Ortiz stops Horse from getting back to his feet.
Ortiz is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ortiz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Horse's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ortiz drops an elbow to the side of Horse's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ortiz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Horse is rocked! Horse taking some punishment here, with Ortiz in his half guard. Horse is still in real trouble! Can Ortiz finish him? Ortiz uses his free foot to push down on Horse's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Horse. Horse seems to have recovered his senses. Horse looks gassed! Ortiz unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Horse wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Ortiz celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tito Ortiz!
