Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Safronov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Kobra will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stanislav Safronov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Kobra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kobra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Safronov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kobra's guard.

Safronov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kobra will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Kobra wants to work for an arm triangle but Safronov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Safronov tries to roll over but Kobra keeps him under control.

Kobra working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

King Kobra dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

so Kobra counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Safronov wants to get up but he can't break Kobra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Safronov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kobra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Safronov has managed to get both his arms back between Kobra's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

King Kobra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kobra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
