Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and oGG NoGG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). NoGG has chosen Pantera : 5 Minutes Alone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NoGG throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Calzaghe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
NoGG is trying to control the position but Calzaghe postures up.
NoGG wants to sweep but no luck.
Calzaghe trying to control the position from guard on top but NoGG is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We're going to have a standup here because Joe Calzaghe wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
The fight stays on the outside here - NoGG looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

NoGG is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Calzaghe can't fight it off and eventually NoGG manages to take the fight to the floor. Calzaghe looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

NoGG stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calzaghe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Calzaghe is refusing to be controlled, as NoGG sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Calzaghe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

NoGG shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Calzaghe napping and manages to drive through into side control!

NoGG wants to control but Calzaghe is keeping him busy.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Calzaghe is not content to let NoGG control the position.

oGG NoGG has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

NoGG closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
NoGG is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
NoGG throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

NoGG is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

NoGG closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Well NoGG has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
