Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trung Lu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus. Trung Lu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tyrone Davids's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu throws a combination. Davids tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Lu takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Davids dives in and grabs Lu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lu pushes down on Davids's head and hops out.
Lu looks to land a combination. Davids sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lu misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Lu. Those never looked like landing.
Lu misses with a straight left.
Davids ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lu moves away.
Lu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Davids holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lu is looking to break free of the clinch but Davids has double underhooks.

Lu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Davids pushes off an throws an elbow but Lu leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Davids drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Lu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lu throws a jab but it's blocked by Davids.

Lu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Davids takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lu throws out a powerful jab.
Davids avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Good leg kick by Davids there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Davids on the side of the head.
Lu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
No joy there for Lu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Davids throws a hook but Lu avoids it easily.
Davids shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lu as he jumps to the side.
Trung Lu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Davids.

Davids fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lu manages to avoid it.

and Davids counters with a shoot takedown. Lu fights it but they end up in guard.
Davids throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davids is aware though and is defending well.

Lu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Davids stacks Lu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Davids!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Davids is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lu defends it well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
