Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Katie Redhair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Laaksonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redhair has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Antti Laaksonen enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redhair shoots in looking for a takedown. Laaksonen tries to sprawl out of it but Redhair keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Laaksonen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Redhair tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Laaksonen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Redhair takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Katie Redhair has been cut.
Redhair is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Redhair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Laaksonen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Redhair's guard.

Laaksonen is pushing down on Redhair's leg trying to pass to half guard. Redhair is fighting to maintain full guard but Laaksonen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Laaksonen slips a nice elbow through Redhair's hands, connecting with Redhair's forehead.

Laaksonen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Laaksonen cracks Redhair with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Laaksonen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Laaksonen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Redhair can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Laaksonen breaks from Redhair's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Laaksonen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Redhair is bucking up trying to escape but Laaksonen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Redhair takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Laaksonen's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
