Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Lott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Misirlou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misirlou has chosen Drake- Over as his entrance music. Mark Misirlou acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lott throws a series of punches but Misirlou moves out of range.

Lott gets a takedown into half guard.
Lott working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Misirlou tries to get to full guard but Lott has control of the leg.

Misirlou is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lott thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Misirlou fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Misirlou has hold of Lott's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lott manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lott's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Oh Lott is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
