The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like jayceon taylor has been cut.
Bartone thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on taylor if he has to take too many more of those.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bartone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down taylor for as long as he can get away with.

Bartone is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. taylor looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bartone gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. taylor is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bartone lets go of the hold and taylor can pop his arm back in it's socket.
