Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Ragnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyle comes to the cage accompanied by Sick Puppies-Youre going down. Kari Ragnarsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson throws a leg kick

and Lyle counters with a single leg into guard. Ragnarsson didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lyle throws a strike but Ragnarsson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lyle wants to stand but Ragnarsson is controlling the position.
Ragnarsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Lyle is retaining full guard.
Lyle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ragnarsson is controlling him.
Lyle wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ragnarsson manages to pass to side control.
Lyle pushes Ragnarsson off looking to stand but Ragnarsson dives back in and keeps control.

Ragnarsson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lyle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ragnarsson is taking a breather. Lyle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ragnarsson stops Lyle from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyle tries to kick Ragnarsson off in order to stand up. Ragnarsson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Lyle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ragnarsson has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ragnarsson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ragnarsson is on top in guard.
