Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sarkhan Vol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasty has chosen Wiz Khalifa Black And Yellow as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vol closes the distance but Nasty moves to the side
and Nasty counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Sarkhan Vol has been cut.
Nasty defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vol.
Vol misses with a shot to the body
and Nasty counters with a straight right hand.
Nasty is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nasty swings for the body but Vol moves out of range.

Vol closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vol is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Vol looking to control but instead Nasty has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Vol is looking for a kimura but Nasty is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vol to get the leverage.

Vol is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Nasty pushes Vol off and gets back to his feet.
Vol shoots in for a takedown but Nasty shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nasty keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Vol or perhaps it was just good defense by Nasty which made him look bad.

Vol drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nasty dives on top into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nasty would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nasty wants to pass the guard but Vol is keeping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nasty bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vol's head backwards.

Sarkhan Vol's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Nasty fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vol looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nasty tests Vol's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vol drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nasty misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vol is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nasty.

Jeez, Sarkhan Vol's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Nasty fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vol on the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sarkhan Vol's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
