Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas McArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Davis.
McArthur throws a combination. Davis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
McArthur tries to move into range but Davis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Davis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McArthur quickly recovers to half guard.
Davis postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for McArthur to stand up.
Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davis's corner calls for a 1-2. Davis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Davis misses with a two punch combination.
Davis connects with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice uppercut lands for Davis. That snapped McArthur's head back.
McArthur is rocked!
Davis fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks McArthur square on the jaw! Damn, McArthur is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
