Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Taylor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joh Jah!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor slips under a jab.
Jah takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jah with a poor takedown
and Taylor counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Taylor lands the left hand.
Taylor cracks Jah with a good jab.
Jah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Taylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Jah.
Donk. Taylor catches Jah right on the button with a cross.
Jah lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jah rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Taylor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jah tries to move into range but Taylor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jah shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Taylor defends it nicely.
Jah wants to clinch
and Taylor counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jah looks gassed!
Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
Shane Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joh Jah.
Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Taylor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jah at a distance.
Taylor lands a body shot.
Taylor scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Taylor lands a glancing blow to the side of Jah's head.
Jah takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Taylor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


Jah is rocked!
Taylor drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Jah's head, knocking him out cold! Taylor is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Taylor!
