Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Muay Thai Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Drysdale!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drysdale shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spar's guard.
Spar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Spar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Drysdale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drysdale can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Drysdale forces his way into half guard.
Spar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Drysdale is working for a submission of some sort.
Spar has hold of Drysdale's hands but Drysdale slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Drysdale is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Drysdale is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Spar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Spar is working hard here to advance position.

Drysdale is trying to work for a kimura but Spar is defending well.
Spar manages to get to full guard.
Spar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drysdale on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Drysdale tries to free his leg and advance position but Spar is retaining full guard.

Drysdale passes Spar's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Spar tries to roll over but Drysdale keeps him under control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Drysdale drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Spar seems keen to control Drysdale's posture.
Drysdale tries to free his leg and advance position but Spar is retaining full guard.
Spar wants to sweep here but Drysdale controlling him for the moment.
Drysdale is fighting to break Spar's control of his arms but Spar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Drysdale is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drysdale.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Spar pushes Drysdale off looking to stand but Drysdale dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Spar wants to improve his position but Drysdale is controlling well.

Bobby Drysdale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Drysdale takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Drysdale shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drysdale showed some decent athleticism there.
