Durden tries to clinch up but Avila circles away and keeps his distance.
Durden slaps away a takedown attempt from Avila, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Avila blocks a head kick by Durden.

Avila gets caught flat footed, as Durden shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Avila is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Avila wants to control from the top but Durden keeps moving.

Avila drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Avila jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Durden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Avila seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Durden does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
