The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Omar's calf.

and Omar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Omar avoids the head kick by Tyler.
Tyler throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Omar counter with a right hand.
Tyler throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Omar to counter with a crisp jab.
Tyler throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
letting Omar counter with a right hand.
Tyler misses with a combination
and Omar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tyler throws a series of punches but Omar moves out of range.
Tyler lets loose with a powerful body kick. Omar will feel that in the morning.
Tyler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tyler misses with a double jab
and Omar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Omar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tyler's half guard.
Omar is working for a kimura but Tyler is defending it quite comfortably.

Omar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tyler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
