The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like James William has been cut.
William throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
boy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
William scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
boy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and William counters with a body kick that stops boy in his tracks momentarily.
boy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and William counters with a series of strikes. boy will be more careful next time no doubt.
William connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between boy's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

William is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by boy.

William decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

chrissy boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

boy walks straight into a right hand from William - that's dropped him! William jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save boy from any more punishment! boy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
