The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz motions for Kudo to come forward. Diaz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kudo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kudo lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! Kudo takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Mario Diaz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kudo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kudo misses with a wild combination.
Kudo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kudo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kudo throwing shots but Diaz is blocking nicely.
Kudo gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
The fighters circle, before Kudo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Diaz's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kudo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
