The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Bundy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thompson but Thompson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bundy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Bundy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
