The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlov scores with a one two! Kotopulos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Andreas Kotopulos has been cut.

Kotopulos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kotopulos wants to control but Orlov is keeping him busy.

Kotopulos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kotopulos stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Orlov tries to close the distance and clinch but Kotopulos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kotopulos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
