Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash HIt Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flash HIt Man!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott stuns HIt Man with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

HIt Man feints and as Scott raises his hands in defense, HIt Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Scott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Scott trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Scott wants to finish this one by submission but HIt Man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Scott.
HIt Man has given up his back here. Will Scott look for the submission or keep pounding away?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott has HIt Man flattened out and is raining down punches.
HIt Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Scott throwing wild punches that miss their target.
I really don't envy HIt Man right now.
HIt Man trying to survive by controlling the hands.
Scott misses with an elbow to the head.

Scott working for a choke but HIt Man is defending well.

HIt Man trying to control the position but Scott manages to sink in the hooks.
Scott punches the canvas rather than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
HIt Man looks gassed!

Scott has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, HIt Man has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scott is persistently looking for the submission but HIt Man is defending it well.
HIt Man looking very determined here, making life difficult for Scott.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walter Scott dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Scott scores with a jab to the jaw.
HIt Man lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
HIt Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
HIt Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
HIt Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
HIt Man blocks a head kick by Scott.
Scott throws a head kick that misses.
Scott lands a head kick. HIt Man smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Flash HIt Man has been cut.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Scott. HIt Man shrugs it off though.
Jab, jab by Scott - just one landing.
Scott lands a nice shot to the body.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but HIt Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch combination from Scott misses.
Scott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt HIt Man.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
HIt Man is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Scott.
HIt Man is breathing heavily.

Scott shoots in and bounces HIt Man off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if HIt Man can do anything to dispel that myth.

Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but HIt Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Scott is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Scott wants to control from the top but HIt Man keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Walter Scott.
Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

HIt Man cracks Scott with an open hand slap.
Walter Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
HIt Man tries to clinch but Scott moves out of range.

HIt Man will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Scott clinches up with HIt Man and pushes him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Scott takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Scott breaks the clinch.
Scott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
HIt Man tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Walter Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flash HIt Man.
Scott lands with a kick to the temple. HIt Man shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Scott throws a nice looking combination but HIt Man bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Scott lands a nice leg kick that just misses HIt Man's sensitive parts.
Scott tries to bum rush HIt Man with a series of wild strikes but HIt Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Scott breaks from the clinch.
Scott connects with a leg kick. HIt Man looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Scott lands a two punch combo.
Nice shot by Scott.
Scott's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Scott duly obliges.
HIt Man takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
HIt Man is looking to stall here but Scott recovers full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Scott swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by HIt Man.

HIt Man closes the distance and clinches.
HIt Man tries to break the clinch but Scott is controlling the position.
Scott tries to land a knee to the head but HIt Man blocks with his arms.

Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Scott throws a nice looking combination but HIt Man bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Scott is looking to slow HIt Man down with leg kicks.
Scott throws a one two combo.
Scott connects with a good right hand that stumbles HIt Man. HIt Man circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Scott throws a nice looking combination but HIt Man bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Scott throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Scott moves into the clinch successfully.

Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Scott lands a nice shot that snaps HIt Man's head back.
Scott throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Scott misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scott moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
HIt Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circle momentarily. Scott darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

HIt Man misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

HIt Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Scott is trying to push HIt Man away but HIt Man has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Walter Scott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
