PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Aquilani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hood comes into the arena with Carlos - The Silmarillia blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alberto Aquilani!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aquilani swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aquilani looks to land a body kick but Hood moved away.
Aquilani will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Aquilani counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hood won't be happy with that.
Aquilani misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Aquilani throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hood wants to get back to his feet but Aquilani is dominant here and he's now got Hood's back!
