Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravado has chosen Pray as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ty Angle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eddie Bravado!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravado moves into range and connects with a jab.

Angle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bravado sprawls well initially but Angle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Angle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bravado sees it coming and defends easily.

Angle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bravado is just riding it out for now. Angle eventually gives up the hold.

Angle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Angle prevents Bravado from standing back up.

Bravado is defending against the submission attempts here by Angle.
Angle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bravado keeps working.

Angle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Angle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bravado defends it well.

Bravado tries to get to full guard but Angle has control of the leg.

Angle stops Bravado from getting back to his feet.

Angle is looking for a kimura but Bravado is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Angle to get the leverage.

Angle is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Bravado to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Angle is really struggling to control Bravado but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bravado has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Angle has passed into side control.

Angle swings around for an armbar but Bravado sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Angle's guard.
Bravado postures up in Angle's guard and throws a big left but Angle blocks it.
Bravado is looking to work some ground and pound but Angle has wrist control.
Bravado advances to half guard.
Bravado content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bravado works his way into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bravado in side control lands a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ty Angle will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Angle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bravado counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Bravado shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Angle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bravado pulls his head out easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bravado accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Angle makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Angle.

Bravado got a little sloppy there for a moment and Angle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bravado has managed to get both his arms back between Angle's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Angle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravado gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Angle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Eddie Bravado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Angle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravado doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravado manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bravado connects with a nice short shot to Angle's temple.

Angle has hold of Bravado's hands but Bravado slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravado lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Bravado is nestled in close to Angle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Angle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bravado is working away from the top position though.
Bravado looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Bravado lands a big shot there that rocks Angle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Eddie Bravado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bravado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
