The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Laeskinen misses with an uppercut. Davis saw that one coming.

Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Laeskinen on the ground.

Davis stands up over Laeskinen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Laeskinen has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.

Laeskinen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Davis doesn't defend quickly enough and Laeskinen has managed to lock this one up! Can Davis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Laeskinen on a fantastic submission victory.
