The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scofield shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zbigniewski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zbigniewski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Zbigniewski moves into the clinch successfully.
Zbigniewski gets underhooks to prevent Scofield's takedown attempt.
Zbigniewski prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Scofield. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scofield drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zbigniewski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Zbigniewski is trying to force a seperation but Scofield has the dominant position.

Zbigniewski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zbigniewski throws a series of punches but Scofield avoids them all with ease.
Zbigniew Zbigniewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scofield shoots in for a double leg but Zbigniewski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zbigniewski has closed the distance and engaged Scofield in a clinch.

Zbigniewski feints a jab promting Scofield to slip. Zbigniewski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Scofield slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Scofield looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Scofield tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scofield has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Scofield wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zbigniewski keeps working.
Scofield controls the position.
Zbigniewski is looking to regain half guard here but Scofield keeps moving and retains side control.

Zbigniewski wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Scofield has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Zbigniewski's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Zbigniewski is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Scofield!
