The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westfall misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Petkovic to counter with a crisp jab.
Westfall fails with the takedown
and Petkovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Petkovic paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Petkovic moves in looking to clinch but Westfall pushes him off.

Petkovic throws a shot from downtown. Westfall moves away and avoids it.
Petkovic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Westfall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Petkovic throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Petkovic tries to clinch but Westfall moves out of range.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Petkovic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Westfall thinking.
