The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darsley tries to clinch but Methot moves away
and Methot counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Darsley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Darsley throws a nice looking combination but Methot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Darsley walks into a left hand.
Darsley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Darsley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Methot lands a slapping body shot.
Methot lands with a good body shot.
A lazy left from Methot finds it's target.
Methot scores with a crisp jab that stopped Darsley in his tracks.
Methot lands with an overhand left.
Methot uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Darsley has time to react.
Methot looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Darsley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Darsley there as he acknowledges the shot.
Darsley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Darsley moves out of range of the body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Methot.
Methot scores with a hook to the body. Darsley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Methot lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Darsley is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Methot lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Darsley is still in real trouble! Can Methot finish him?
Methot loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Darsley scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Methot land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Methot stands and salutes the crowd.
