PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Marzapane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Taalasmaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marzapane comes to the cage accompanied by Survivor - Eye of the Tiger . Taalasmaa has chosen Smurffit - Tunteisiin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Marzapane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Taalasmaa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marzapane has managed to get both his arms back between Taalasmaa's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Taalasmaa goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Marzapane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Taalasmaa but great work by Marzapane.
